  We use the "Fit Kit" system which has a good reputation with bicycle racers and coaches combined with what you may tell us about your riding style and needs.

   This is how to perform the measurements. It is easiest to have someone else measure you. Make each measurement a couple of times to confirm that it is right.   1. Hold a book or similar object between your legs so that it is tight against your body. Measure from this point (The pubic bone) to the ground with a tape measure. Do not wear shoes for this measurement
  2. Kneel down and measure the distance from the book to the ground. This gives us a thigh measurement which is useful in determining limits to the seat tube angle.
  3. Length of the foot.
  4. Weight.
  5. Hold a book between your legs again and this time measure upwards to the notch at the top of the sternum (Breast bone) = UBM (Upper body measurement).
  6. Arm length. Hold a pencil or bar in your hand as if you were holding a bicycle handlebar. Hold your arm straight out and measure from your shoulder joint to the edge of the bar.
  7. Your total height, no shoes.
  8. Shoe size.
