Post Retrofit Paint Options
About 2-3 inches of paint gets burned off when we braze the couplers on. There are 3 options:
1.We have a utility touch-up with which we use primer to cover the exposed steel. It is the bare minimum to protect the steel and it doesn’t look pretty. This option is only for people who really beat their bikes up and don’t care about the appearance. $75
2. Color matching or faded touch-up. Single stage urethane paint for high gloss and durability. $150
3.Clear coated touch-up. We match the color of your bike on the areas that got burned off and then we clear coat the entire bike. Looks like a new bike with couplers! In most cases we can save the decals but sometimes they are located right where the couplers are installed. We can usually get new decals from the manufacturer or replicate them. $250
4.Our complete repaint is $325 for single bikes or $450 for tandems. We can supply a variety of decals for $60 and up. If we do not carry them, they must be supplied by you. **Restoration or replica repaints are $400 (includes detailed attention to color and graphics to match original bike design. Photos or drawings of desired result required for restorations/replications)**
**Panels, lug lining, radiance colors or anything else you have ever seen or dreamt up is available! Call for pricing. Color matching is available for an up charge. Please send us a sample or photo to match.
