Step-by-Step to the perfect retrofit
Step 1: Contact us at 215-329-4744 or artistry@bilenky.com with your contact info, bicycle info, shipping address, any accessories you may want, and any questions you have.
Step 2: We require a deposit to get started. You may call in with a credit card or send a check with the frame. The earlier we get your deposit, the higher your bike goes in the retrofit queue. The deposit is $400 for steel bikes, $500 for titanium, and $750 for tandems. The balance is charged when we ship the bike.
Step 3: Please strip the frame as much as possible. (If you can’t handle the bottom bracket or headset we can take care of that.) If you would prefer us to disassemble and assemble the complete bike there is a charge of $120. We will need your fork if we are doing a complete repaint.
Step 4: Ship us your bike via any method of your choice but make sure to insure it and pack it really well! Remember that from now on, shipping will be much easier.
