If your bike is made of almost any steel tubing it can be fitted with couplings. Your bike will need to be smaller than a 63cm/25in (center to top) to fit in the S+S case. All bikes require removal of handlebars to fit in the case; we can install DaVinci cable splitters to simplify re-assembly. For most frames 24" and bigger you will need to remove your right crank to fit it in the box. This is easy to accomplish with self-extracting crank arm bolts, like the optional PTO crank extractors we can install. (see below).

$460   Single Bike Retrofit-Includes installing the couplers, and realigning your frame. Ovalized, odd sized and other specialty tubing may cost a little more. We have experience with many different types of frames.  Price includes spanner wrench, for loosening and tightening couplers.

$795   Titanium Retrofit - As above, except Titanium couplers.

$1250 and up   Tandem Six Coupler Retrofit-Like a single, but a lot more work and three times as many couplers. Call for details.

$38   Cable Connectors-Little magic bits that allow you to "break" your cables in half for easy packing and reattach to same adjustment as before disassembly. Allows you to remove your bars completely with no trouble. Includes two derailleur and one brake. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all bikes. If you have cantilever brakes, you won’t need one for the rear brake, which lowers the price.

$40   Velcro Tube Padding - Easy on/off Velcro-equipped pads for your frame tubes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED with either case.

$12   Compression Members - Cross braces for the center of your case protect the case and your bike from being crushed.

$15 - 25   Self-Extracting PTO Crank Arm Bolts (stainless steel)-These are usually necessary for large frames only.

$200  Touch-Up Paint Job-   contrasting  faded touch-up paint with factory quality touch-up that compliments your frames current color and graphics. No one will even suspect that your bike just went through major surgery!

$225-$250  Touch-Up Paint Job- Our color matching touch-up paint job is so good your bike will look like it was born with couplers installed.

$300   One Color Paint Job - High-quality urethane repaint with clear coat in one of our stock colours.  Decals are re-applied at no extra cost if supplied with frame.
